Dr. Hamilton is a native Kentuckian graduating from Paintsville High School in Paintsville, Kentucky. After four years of undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee for an additional four years with rotations in the Main Campus Clinic and Memphis State University. Dr. Hamilton has obtained certificates from: National Board of Examiners in Optometry, International Board of Optometry, Certified Optometrist State of Florida, State of Indiana, State of Montana, State of Ohio and Commonwealth of Kentucky with Diagnostic and Therapeutic privileges. He is a member of the Kentucky Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He has over 20 years of practice experience. After years in a high pace practice he and his wife of 26 years, Jenny, wanted a slower, relaxed and more patient friendly environment to work. They opened the current office in Union, KY at the Doctor’s of Union Pointe Centre located directly across the street from Ryle High School.
 

Mrs. Jennifer Hamilton is office manager. Jenny graduated from Johnson Central High School in Paintsville, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky and completed her education degree at Memphis State University. For many years she taught elementary school and then decided to join her husband’s practice.

Mr. John Little, is a Kentucky licensed Optician. He graduated from Dixie Heights High School and attended Northern Kentucky University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has been a licensed optician for many years. He has 20 plus years of experience in the field of optics.

Mrs. Donna Daily is an Optometric Assistant. She is a Boone County native and has worked with Dr. Hamilton since 1989. Her duties in addition to Optometric Assistant are: control contact lens inventory, maintain electronic patient records and assist in all office duties for Dr. Hamilton.

Miss. Kristen Garrison is an Optometric assistant. She is a native of Middletown, Ohio who now resides in Boone County.  She joined Dr. Hamilton in 2010. Her duties are reception, pre-testing and administrative.
